These days, our actors and filmmakers are going beyond the expectations to bring perfection on screen. Working on the same lines, here’s Kabir Khan - the director of the film Tubelight, who got over 600 artists trained by Indian Army to make the war backdrop real.
Tubelight is based on the backdrop of Indo-China war and Kabir wanted to portray it the best. He himself requested the Indian army chief to train his actors and even they readily agreed. Under professional guidance, the training was conducted for a couple of weeks in the boot camps. Even Salman Khan and Sohail Khan were part of this endeavor.
In the film, Sohail plays an Army officer, therefore to fit in the frame he had to build a bulky fit body. Also going by the released stills, even Salman has picked up the body language of a mentally challenged man very well. The film has them playing real brothers.
Produced by Salman Khan Films, Tubelight also stars the Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. It is co-produced by Amar Batula, while Rajan Kapoor and Garima Mehta are its executive producer and associate producer, respectively.
Releasing worldwide on Eid, Tubelight’s official trailer will be out tonight. Stay tuned!
