    Dibakar Banerjee Plans for 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' Sequel

    Film maker Dibakar Banerjee is ready to start working on another film on the Bengali Detective i.e. a sequel to 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!'.

    Director Dibakar Banerjee 's film ' Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! ' which is currently running quite successfully in the theatres is a film about the adventures of a private detective who is a bengali babu -Byomkesh. The acclaimed film maker recently stated in a media interaction that he is ready to start working on another film on the Bengali Detective.

    The film maker further added that he had started working on the sequel story even before he finished making of the original film. However, he would only make a sequel if the first film does well at the box office. The crime thriller movie was set in the era of the 1940s and depicted the ancient Bengal.
