'Dhoom 3' gets alive in Dolby Atmosphere

Dhoom series stands out for its ardent action sequences on-screen. But this time \'Dhoom 3\' will be different from the prior ones, as it will take you to the whole new experience of captivating the film, liven up right in front of you with Dolby Atmos, life-like sound quality cinema.

Dolby Atmos highlights the creative potential of story-telling, where the sound is made to move around the movie theatre, to create pragmatic cinema sound experience. Yash Raj Films and Dolby Laboratries have collaborated to deliver the most realistic cinematic experience through \'Dhoom 3\'. The unique sound-mix will amplify the action, emotion, excitement and thrill.

While announcing the collaboration, Vice-President- Production, Yash Raj Films, Ashish Singh, reportedly said that they are looking forward to present \'Dhoom 3\' in Dolby Atmos, which will alive the action thriller for audience in cinemas. Dhoom franchise have always aimed to impart superior audio quality and this latest technology helps them in making the overall experience sound real.

He further added that they believe with Dolby Atmos, they are ushering a newer, better and bigger experience for the movie-going audiences. \'Dhoom 3\' will surely elevate the Hindi movies cinematic standards.

To which, Dolby Laboratories, Country Manager, Pankaj Kedia said that they are extremely delighted to work with the pioneers of Indian film industry. The movie will treat the audience with never before felt experience.

\'Dhoom 3\' will get it\'s native Atmos mix done at YRF Studio, which has been upgraded to be capable of mixing in Dolby Atmos. Therefore, with superficial visual and streaming sound it will be designed to get an adrenaline rush.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the movie stars in Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra and is all set to release on 20th December 2013.
