The makers have announced it officially and also have revealed intricate details.

The film will see Vicky Kaushal as the Pakistani army officer and Alia Bhatt plays his wife. Reports also suggest that Alia’s character has layers and she essays a Kashmiri spy in the movie. It is a known fact that the film is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat and is controversial in nature. If reports are to be believed, Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt encouraged her to give a nod to this project. Alia even stated in a statement that it is one of the most challenging roles of her career. Both the actors are preparing for the film and are perfecting their Kashmiri dialect.

Raazi will be filmed in Punjab and Kashmir in an extended schedule starting from July. Later a small portion will be shot in Mumbai, as per the reports. The film is produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions. All the details about the film have increased the curiosity to watch it!
