YRF’s Thugs Of Hindostan has been in news ever since its official announcement. Its stellar star cast has managed to keep up the curiosity of the fans. Lately, Dangal fame actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has been finalized as the female lead. Now, the latest news claims that, the film will be delayed and it has a very valid reason.

As per the sources, the makers want to make the script tighter and make it a huge experience for the audience. The film is a period drama that is set in the pre-independence era. It revolves around a gang that created trouble for the British before they left India. If reports are to be believed, the makers are planning for several war sequences at the sea for which an international team is hired.

Since Baahubali series have set a bench mark for all the movies to come, Yash Raj Films and Aamir Khan have decided to up their game as well, says the sources. The film team has unanimously delayed the project to develop and work on it further. Thugs Of Hindostan also stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, its shooting will resume from June 1.
