    Deepika Padukone Roped In By Prabhu Deva for His Next Flick 'Namak'

    A couple of days ago, it was reported that Shahid Kapoor had been signed in by the choreographer cum director Prabhu Deva for his next action flick ‘Namak’.

    A couple of days ago, it was reported that Shahid Kapoor had been signed in by the choreographer cum director Prabhu Deva for his next action flick 'Namak'. And now the sources reveal that the director was so impressed by seeing the promos of the recently released ' Cocktail ' that he decided to cast her as the lead actress opposite Shahid Kapoor in his film.

    In the film ' Cocktail ' directed by Homi Adajania , Deepika has played the wild party animal Veronica. Her performance and looks in the film has earned rave reviews.

    Prabhu Deva has recently delivered Akshay-Sonakshi starrer ' Rowdy Rathore ', which has been a super-hit at the box office. Once again he is planning to make a massy entertainer. 'Namak' is apparently based on the issue of drug trade in North India.
