It is always good to hear when a Bollywood star makes a mark on the global scale and especially our power girls. As an early start of the year, xXx: Return of Xander Cage starring Deepika Padukone went in theaters and received mixed response at the Box Office and by the critics. But, Deepika's performance and action scenes were highly appreciated by the critics and even garnered praises by the masses. And, as per the latest news, Deepika Padukone has been nominated for the Teen Choice Award in the category of ‘Choice Action Movie Actress’ for xXx: Return of Xander Cage, which itself is a huge reason for Deepika’s fans across the globe to celebrate!

Despite riding the ‘let’s go ride to Hollywood wave,’ Deepika carefully ventured herself in Hollywood. Though she kept making her appearances on the most international fashion front, film festivals and award gala, she chose patience while debuting in Hollywood films. Not many know but Deepika even got an offer to play a role of a hacker in Furious 7 with the co-star of xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Vin Diesel. But this time, she chose to be in lead with Vin Diesel and it paid off.

And as per the latest update, Deepika Padukone is also signed to be in next xXx film too. Although she seems the right candidate for the teen choice award, she has a tough competition from Wonder Women Gal Gadot and two members from her film, Ruby Rose and Nina Dobrev amongst others. It would be interesting to see who wins the Teen Choice crown!
