There was buzz that Deepika Padukone had walked out of ' Race 2 ' due to date problems and some issues had sprung between Ramesh S. Taurani & her. It was also reported that Ramesh S. Taurani was also supposed to have filed a complaint against her with the CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes' Association).

But according to latest reports Deepika Padukone is back in the film. In a recent interview, Ramesh S. Taurani mentioned about it. He cleared the air about the issues that had sprung up between him and her. Giving the clarification he mentioned, "Though there were certain misunderstandings between us as regards date issues, we discussed them amicably and the issues have been cleared out now. We just shot for a segment of the film in Turkey and everything was fine. I also took back my complaint with the Association the day issues got resolved between us two"

He also assured that ' Race 2 ' would be much more entertainer than the previous one.
