Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra shares comrade bond off-screen, where they are often spotted praising each other. But director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is producing cold-vibes between these friends onscreen, by making them fight for Ranveer Singh 's love in the periodic film ' Bajirao Mastani '.

As per the sources, Deepika and Priyanka will be seen playing the character role of Bajirao's lovers Mastani and Kashibai, respectively. They both will indulge in lot of confrontation sequences and a dancing drama. Even though the film is named after Mastani (Deepika), the other woman in Bajirao's life Kashibai (Priyanka) will be given equal importance in Bhansali's script.

Eight years ago, when Bhansali decided to make the film on this periodic drama, he had planned the script visualizing Kareena Kapoor as Mastani and Rani Mukherjee as Kashibai. But ' Bajirao Mastani ' took time to take off and with time his leading ladies also got changed.
