As per the buzz, an aristocratic set will be erected at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai for this film and like other movies of Bhansali, this outing will also be shot in lavish set. The further report stated that the queen's Water Palace from Chittorgarh Fort will be built as the set for it.

The movie Padmavati is ready to kick start with the ghoomar, a Rajasthani style dance form. Deepika, who portrays Rani Padmavati in the film, is all set to prepare herself for this dance form. As per the report, "Folk dancers from Rajasthan will be flown in for the song. They will be seen alongside Deepika as well as train her. The set at Mehboob studio, where the song will be shot, is almost ready.", said a close source to the development.
