    Dara Singh Passes Away

    Well known wrestler Dara Singh passes away today at 7.30am at his residence.

    Well known wrestler Dara Singh passes away today at 7.30am at his residence.

    He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital (Andheri-West) on Saturday after he experienced a cardiac arrest. On MRI test, doctors found out that most part of his brain was damaged and his kidneys had also malfunctioned. He was kept on ventilator and was undergoing dialysis.

    Sensing that his last time was near and nothing more could be done, he was shifted to his residence on Wednesday so that at his last moment his family can be by the side of him.

    His son VINDU DARA SINGH , after the demise of his father in the morning, texted, "Angel now gone to shine like a star up above."

    He is survived by his 3 sons and 3 daughters.

    Apart from wrestling, he is also popularly known for his role of Hanumaan in Ramayan!

    May his soul rest in peace!
