    Danish Aslam to direct a gay love tale

    Producer Ekta Kapoor has roped in the director Danish Aslam to direct a film based on Shakespeare's play, but with a gay twist in the story.

    Since a long time, a pool of desi adaptations of 'Romeo & Juliet' by William Shakespeare are pouring in Bollywood. And now, the producer Ekta Kapoor desires to present the story, but with a different twist. For this, Kapoor has reportedly signed the director Danish Aslam , who made his directorial debut with the film ' Break Ke Baad '.

    Aslam will be directing the film based on Shakespeare's play, but it will have a gay twist in it. Danish thinks that when it comes to homosexuality films in Bollywood, they are either presented in a comic way or in a very serious manner. The director intends to showcase the topic in a realistic way and with no drama involved in it. The other details regarding the project are kept unwrapped.
