Danish Aslam to direct a gay love tale

Since a long time, a pool of desi adaptations of \'Romeo & Juliet\' by William Shakespeare are pouring in Bollywood. And now, the producer Ekta Kapoor desires to present the story, but with a different twist. For this, Kapoor has reportedly signed the director Danish Aslam, who made his directorial debut with the film \'Break Ke Baad\'.

Aslam will be directing the film based on Shakespeare\'s play, but it will have a gay twist in it. Danish thinks that when it comes to homosexuality films in Bollywood, they are either presented in a comic way or in a very serious manner. The director intends to showcase the topic in a realistic way and with no drama involved in it. The other details regarding the project are kept unwrapped.
