    Sanya Malhotra signed Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziya, replacing Bhumi Pednekar as the female lead.

    Dangal fame Sanya Malhotra has struck gold! After working with Aamir Khan, she gets the chance to play a lead role in Anurag Kashyap ’s upcoming film Manmarziya .

    Dangal girl Sanya Malhotra signs Anurag Kashyap’s next

    As per the sources, the entire cast and crew of Manmarziya has gone for a toss. At first, director Sameer Sharma backed out of the film due some creative difference, getting Anurag on board. Next, Sanya replaced Bhumi Pednekar, who was supposedly the original choice for female lead. It is also said that the male lead Ayushman Khurana would also get replaced by a new face.

    Manmarziya is produced by Anand L. Rai.
