Court Case Regarding 'The Dirty Picture' Title In Favor Of Balaji.

Ekta Kapoor\'s 2011 film \'The Dirty Picture\' which was embroiled in a court case over the use of its title has won the case. Akshaya Productions from Karnataka attempted to cash on the film\'s popularity and named their film as \'The Dirty Picture- Silk Sakath Hot Maga\'.
However, when Ekta Kapoor came to know about this, she took legal action against the production house. The court has now declared that the title is the property of Balaji and Akshaya Productions has no right to use the title even if remotely similar to the original one.
