Yesterday, BollywoodMDB informed readers that Salman Khan ’s upcoming film, Bharat , will reportedly have Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. And now, it is confirmed that Desi Girl, Priyanka, will be seen alongside Salman Bhai in the much-awaited film. Before anyone else would have broken the news, Priyanka’s official team revealed the big news on Twitter.

Team Priyanka Chopra tweeted, “This is the news we've all been waiting to hear, and it's finally been confirmed! @priyankachopra will star alongside @BeingSalmanKhan in #Bharat, and we JUST CAN’T WAIT to watch the biggest stars of Hindi Cinema together on the big screen again!”

Priyanka told a leading daily, “I’m looking forward to working with Salman and Ali after a considerable time. I’ve learnt a lot from them during our previous collaborations and I am excited to see what this one has to offer. I’m also looking forward to working with Atul, Alvira and the entire team. To all my well-wishers who have been patient and supportive, thank you for your constant support and I’ll see you at the movies.”

The movie will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar . In the past, PeeCee had worked with Salman as well as with Ali and her collaboration with the two men had turned profitable both the times.

For the uninitiated, Bharat is an official remake of the South Korean film, Ode To My Father, but it will have a different storyline. It will be releasing on Eid 2019.
