Not much after winning the BIG Star Entertainment Award for 'Best Actor in a Comic Role' for his performance in the Rohit Shetty 's ' Bol Bachchan ', he bagged the Zee Cine Award for his comic role.

Apparently, Abhishek Expressed his happiness by posting on Twitter, "Just won Best Actor- Comedy for Bol Bachchan at the Big Star entertainment awards!!!! Won because of the most awesome team that we had on the film. All the actors and technicians and AD's. I share this award with them. And especially Ajay Devgn and Rohit. For their trust, faith and guidance. Would not have been possible without them."

However, this wasn't the final one for Abhishek. He also won the "Best Actor in a Comic Role" for the 19th Annual Screen Awards.

After winning the award, he thanked the film's star cast and the film's entire team for its hard work. He further added that he was glad that his work in the film was appreciated and he wants to continue the same way in the future.
