    Chitrangada Singh to mark her production debut with a biopic

    Actress Chitrangada Singh will turn producer with an inspiring biopic on Indian Hockey Team player Sandeep Singh.

    Actress Chitrangada Singh is ready to adorn the producer's hat by bringing up the inspirational story of Indian Hockey Team player Sandeep Singh on celluloid. Reportedly, she has hired the rights of his life's story.

    Former captain of Indian Hockey Team, Sandeep Singh's flying carrier came to crash when he met with an accidental gunshot on August 22, 2006, while he was on his way to Germany to play in the World Cup. Post accident, he was on wheel-chair for almost two years. Just when all hopes were sinking, his will power brought him back to the field, making him join the Indian Hockey Team again.

    Touched by this inspirational tale of India's "Penalty Corner Specialist", Chitrangada decided to take her friend's story to the audience by making a biopic on him.
