    Chitrangada Singh stars opposite Saif Ali Khan in Baazaar

    Nikhil Advani has signed Chitrangada Singh to play Saif Ali Khan’s wife in film Baazaar.

    After a number of speculations regarding the female star cast of Baazaar , here we have a confirmed piece of news from producer Nikhil Advani himself. He has officially stated that Chitrangada Singh will be playing Saif Ali Khan ’s wife in the film.

    Earlier, Nirmrat Kaur and Prachi Desai were considered to play Saif’s onscreen wife. However, now Chitrangada has grabbed the role. The makers found her instrumental for this powerful character named Mandira, as she is silent and simmering in real life too. She was recommended to Nikhil by Baazaar ’s director Gaurav K Chawla.

    Talking to a leading daily, Nikhil also said that they have finalized Radhika Apte to star opposite debutant, Rohan Mehra. She will be playing Saif’s secretary in the film. This makes Baazaar complete with strong actors and characters.

    Baazaar ’s shoot has already begun and is expected to wrap up by mid-August. The makers are aiming for this year’s December release.
