    After Shahid , Citylights and Aligarh , actor Rajkummar Rao has collaborated with Hansal Mehta for Omerta . Omerta is the fourth film and fifth collaboration between the actor and director and it has already been through numerous international film festivals. Rajkummar, who is currently shooting for one of his upcoming projects, Stree , with Shraddha Kapoor , has revealed the first official poster of Omerta . The actor will be seen playing the role of a terrorist and the poster shows him at a sniper target. Rajkummar revealed the poster on Twitter, captioning, “Here’s the official poster of #Omerta. Film releasing on 20th April. Trailer out in two days. @mehtahansal”

    Official Poster of Omerta

    Rajkummar will be seen playing the role of Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, British terrorist of Pakistani descent. The film explores the 1994 kidnappings of Westerners in India for which Omar was arrested and served time in prison and the plotting of murder of Wall Street journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002.

    The film has won a number of awards and accolades and been featured at the Toronto International Film Festival.

    Produced by Nahid Khan , presented by Swiss Entertainment and directed by Hansal Mehta , Omerta will release on April 20th, 2018.
