    Several senior make-up artists thought it is impossible to bring the director Maneesh Sharma's vision of turning a 50-year old man into 25-year old guy into reality, but without losing hope, the team of the film Fan contacted Hollywood artist Greg Cannon who performed an excellent job by turning 50-year old Shah Rukh into a 25-year old lookalike fan Gaurav.

    A video released by the makers of film shows Shah Rukh saying how sitting in a chair 4-5 hours daily was the single most irritating thing in the world. However, he promised himself he will not get angry. Greg designed eyebrow pieces, a new nose and teeth. The VFX team did further things like shrinking his body, working on his shoulders and eyes, sharpening the jaw line.
