Brought into existence by filmmaker Nitin Upadhyaya , the premier film production house ODDBALL Motion Pictures has inked a deal with Chanda Group for the creation of films and digital content. Chanda Group has invested Rs. 250 in the production house for feature films and original digital video content to be exclusively created and produced by ODDBALL Motion Pictures . Their first release will be the bilingual thriller Haadsa, starring Gulshan Devaiah , Sagarika Ghatge and Kunal Roy Kapur in lead roles.

Speaking on the association, Rahul Chanda, the managing director of the Chandra Group, said in a statement, “Indian Film & Media sector is one of the fastest growing market and in a country which has an exceptional appetite for information and content, it is about time that this sector is explored as a serious business avenue. This association with ODDBALL Motion Pictures will help us to power forward in the Industry. They are passionate and developing some great content.”

ODDBALL Motion Pictures has produced Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Hassan starrer Behen Hogi Teri in 2017. The production house has an impressive lineup of films for 2018, including Emraan Hashmi ’s Captain Nawab .
