    'Chakravyuh' 1st Weekend (5 Days) Box Office Report –Poor

    Despite a good subject, Prakash Jha’s film 'Chakravyuh' failed to earn fair box office collection in its first weekend which was of 5 days because it had released on Wednesday.

    Despite a good subject, Prakash Jha 's film ' Chakravyuh ' failed to earn fair box office collection in its first weekend which was of 5 days because it had released on Wednesday. Its 1st weekend (5 days) box office collection has been reported to be poor.

    On its opening day it had earned INR 3.60 Crores but instead of picking up, its business went on dropping till Sunday.

    On Thursday it had earned INR 1.90 Crores (net) and on Friday it could earn only INR 1.50 Crores (net) which are said to be poor collection for a film like this. Trade pundits expected it to earn more than INR 4-5 Crores on Sunday but it could earn only INR 2.50 Crores on that day.

    Thus its box office collection of 1st weekend stands at INR 11.25 Crores.
