For those who look forward to watching Pirates of Caribbean’s fifth installment ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge’ in Hindi are in for a treat. Recently actor Arshad Warsi confirmed the news that he’ll be voicing the iconic character of Captain Jack Sparrow. He tweeted, “So yes, I am the voice for Jack Sparrow in #piratesofthecaribbean5. Watch it, you’ll love It.” and buzz just went haywire.

Arshad also states that he is been a big fan of Jack Sparrow in particular throughout the series and was jolted when he came to know that he’ll be voicing his favorite character in this installment. He also mentioned that the experience was mixed as he was under pressure to voice such an iconic character and also fun when the actor has to deliver his performance as drunken Johnny Depp, maintaining all the gestures and caricatures. In earlier Pirates of the Caribbean movies, the voice over for the character of Jack Sparrow was done by Rajesh Khattar , an actor who is known for his voiceover performances many Hollywood films.

Though Arshad was busy shooting for Rohit Shetty ’s ‘Golmaal Again’, but he managed some time out for this dubbing role. Since we have seen him mimicking many actors and also performing caricatures in many of his films, it would be hilarious to hear Jack Sparrow in his tone.
