The much-talked about upcoming flick ' Bombay Velvet ' wrapped up its shooting and the last day of shooting proved very special, as the makers surprised the team with a cake on which the release date of the film was penned with a tempting icing!

Prior to this, Ranbir Kapoor , Anushka Sharma starrer ' Bombay Velvet ' was supposed to hit the screens along with Aamir Khan starrer ' PK '. However, the two biggies avoided to clash with each other and ' PK ' finalised its release date as December 19 and is set to lock horns with the laughter ride ' Welcome Back '.

Going by the reports, ' Bombay Velvet ' will now release on November 28. The CEO of Fox Star Studios , Vijay Singh stated that "' Bombay Velvet ' is a special film which demands a special release weekend. It will release worldwide on the Thanksgiving weekend," The lead actor of the film, Ranbir Kapoor said that "I'm really proud of the movie. It has been made with a lot of love. We are proud to announce Anurag's dream and passion in going to come to the theatres on November 28,"
