The upcoming movie Udta Punjab produced by Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd and Phantom Productions, is confronting deep trouble over its portrayal drug abuse and abusive content. The word Punjab has been ordered to remove from the title as well as its reference from the film by Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC). To protest against the, the members of the film fraternity and the makers of the film will hold a press conference today, as per the report.

The name of Punjab is maligned by the film and Shahid's character from it only speaks abusive language, claimed Censor board Chief Pahlaj Nihlani. This censorship of Udta Punjab is creating a lot of stir in social media and Bollywood stars have arrived in support of Udta Punjab. Let's have a look at what they want to say:

#UdtaPunjab speaks of the reality of our times....censoring reality amounts to delusion.....the fraternity has to stand by what's right!!
