Bollywood showers praise on 'Citylights'

This Friday marks the release of \'Citylights\', the film directed by Hansal Mehta. The film will have an extra edge over the crisp performances by Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha. The movie basically speaks about a Rajasthani farmer, who comes in Mumbai with big dreams along with his wife and daughter. The further tale narrates his journey through hurdles in the city. Recently, the B-Town stars attended the special screening of \'Citylights\' and they showered praises on the film. Here\'s what they have to say about the flick.

Vidya Balan said that \"The story of \'Citylights\' moved me. The way the film has been presented is outstanding. I\'d say Rajkummar deserves another National award for his realistic performance. As for Patralekha, I have no words - she is absolutely brilliant in the film.\" Alia Bhatt praised the film by saying that \"Watching the film was an overwhelming, emotional experience for me. I was left speechless. The performances were outstanding.\" Huma Qureshi mentioned that \"Patralekha could not have had a meatier debut, while Rajkummar as usual is fantastic. Manav Kaul is a scene stealer.\" Nawazuddin Siddiqui appreciated the flick and said \"I wish the best to team \'Citylights\'. It\'s going to win a lot of acclaim and awards.\"

Tarun Mansukhani stated that \"I extend both my thumbs upwards. Hansal has outdone himself once again. This is another National award-winning film.\" Saqib Saleem said \"The film is making all the right noises; I am sure everyone will love it.\"
