According to reports, superstar Hrithik Roshan will star in a superhero film. If you thought we are talking about Krrish 4 , the next installment of the highly successful film franchise Krrish, then let us tell you that the movie we are talking about is director Rohit Dhawan ’s next. Rohit is known for his films like Desi Boyz and Dishoom . “Rohit and Hrithik know each other well and had been planning to work together for quite some time. When Rohit got the basic idea of the film, he bounced it off to Hrithik who liked it a lot and asked him to develop the story at the earliest,” a DNA report quotes a source saying. The source adds, “Once the final script is in place, Hrithik will work out the modalities and sign on the dotted line. As of now, he has okayed it verbally.”

Rohit is known for films exhibiting strong male bonding. However, his next will be totally different from what he has done so far. “It’s a superhero film. After Krrish, this will be yet another sci-fi flick for Duggu, but it’s not similar to his Krrish avatar. Rohit wants it to be one of the biggest films made in this space. With the amount of VFX and CGI available today, he wants to make the best use of it. The aim is to make it at par with Hollywood superhero films,” adds the source.

Hrithik Roshan is currently busy with his next Super 30. After wrapping up Super 30 , he will move on to Siddharth Anand ’s untitled film around April. Rohit will shoot his film simultaneously.

Reportedly, the mega-budgeted project will be bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala .
