Bejoy Nambiar Signs 'Matrubhoomi' Director to Act in His Film 'David'

Bejoy Nambiar, who recently offered Rs.10 crore to Sanjay Dutt to play a negative role in his upcoming film has signed the director of the film \'Matrubhoomi\' to act in his film \'David\'.

\'Matrubhoomi\' was directed by Manish Jha, which was a film based on female feticide. This film was highly acclaimed by the critics for its burning subject. After \'Matrubhoomi\' what Manish was doing, no one had any idea. But now he would be playing a stellar role in Bejoy\'s film \'David\'.

Confirming the news Bejoy said, \"Yes, Manish Jha makes his acting debut in my David. He had done theatre extensively in the past but never acted in a movie. I found him to be perfect for one of the roles.\"

Many directors have turned actors in the past such as Mahesh Manjrekar, Sudhir Mishra, Tigmanshu Dhulia (who was recently seen in Gangs Of Wasseypur).
