    'Baby' and 'Khamoshiyaan' to battle on Republic Day

    Akshay Kumar's 'Baby' and Mahesh Bhatt's 'Khamoshiyaan' will battle on the silver screen citing to their similar release date on January 26.

    The day when our country's rules and regulations got sanctioned, will now see the battle of Akshay Kumar 's ' Baby ' and Mahesh Bhatt 's ' Khamoshiyan - Silences Have Secrets ' next year.

    Both the films are schedules to release next year on January 26. Earlier, this clash was going to take place between ' Welcome Back ' and ' Baby '. But, ' Welcome Back ' backed off the competition by forwarding its release to March. That's when ' Baby ' thought the way is clear, but then ' Khamoshiyan - Silences Have Secrets ' arrived at the slot giving it a threatening competition.

    Mahesh Bhatt has announced the release date of his film stating that it won't affect Akshay's film as both the films are based on varied genre. ' Baby ' happens to be an espionage thriller, while ' Khamoshiyan - Silences Have Secrets ' is the combination of erotica, supernatural and great music.
