Throughout his career, the legendary actor Big B Amitabh Bachchan has been honored with numerous accolades and awards for his contribution to the Hindi film industry. Now, according to the source the Australian university La Trobe University of Melbourne has decided to honor the well-known actor by naming a scholarship after him. The scholarship will be named as 'Shri Amitabh Bachchan Scholarship'.

The official announcement will be made after the conclusion of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, popularly called as IFFM. The film festival will have Big B as the special guest. In that festival, Big B will be honored with IFFM's 'International Screen Icon Award'. The award will be given to the great actor by the Victorian Government. He will also get the special 'Ambassador Of Goodwill' award when he will be staying at Melbourne.

In IFFM, the festival will have a presentation of Big B's famous films at the Melbourne's prestigious Federation Square. The presentation will be held to honor the great star. Looks like Big B is getting more feathers in his already filled cap.
