    Ashok Mehta Passed Away-Shahrukh, Priyanka Pay Tribute

    Ashok Mehta, who was a noted cinematographer, has passed away on 15th August, due to lung cancer.

    Ashok Mehta , who was a noted cinematographer, has passed away on 15th August, due to lung cancer.

    Many celebrities were spotted at the ace cinematographer's funeral. Some of the celebrities to be mentioned here are Shah Rukh Khan , Priyanka Chopra , Arjun Rampal , Farah Khan , Boney Kapoor , Gulshan Grover etc.

    Ashok Mehta had shot some well known films like '36 Chowringhee Lane', 'Paroma' and 'Sati', as a cinematographer of art cinema.

    He had also shot some films of mainstream cinema such as ' Gupt ', ' Ram Lakhan ', ' Bandit Queen ', ' Khalnayak ', ' https://www.fridayrelease.com/movies/chalte-chalte/943' etc. as a cinematographer.

    May his soul rest in peace!
