Arun Gawli will also promote his upcoming biopic Daddy ft. Arjun Rampal!

If one asks any Bollywood actor, who is happens to reach a celebrity status would tell that film promotions can be fun and tiring at the same time. And maybe there is a race to come up with unique promotion strategies, to make the film be known in public eye! Though the team of Arjun Rampal’s upcoming crime drama biopic, Daddy, based on the life of real life ex-gangster-turned politician Arun Gawli, aren’t doing anything groundbreaking as far as promotional strategies are concerned. But it would be the first time that a convict would be bailed out to promote his film.

Yes! Arun Gawli himself would be bailed out to promote his biopic, directed by Ashim Ahluwalia and this strategy would certainly get more attention! Speaking about the promotional arrangements, “We were not sure if Arun Gawli’s bail application would be approved. But still, we had postponed the release date of Daddy from July to September hoping he would be able to join us towards the release of the film.”

Speaking about the choice of subject of this film, Arjun Rampal also clarifies, “The idea is to neither demonize nor eulogize him but to portray as human, real vulnerable yet strong. No one enjoys being known as a law-breaker. We’ve tried to go into Gawli’ dual image of the outlaw and the Messiah!”

Now as per new updates the gritty crime thriller, Daddy, will be released on 8th September with the cast of Anand Ingale, Rajesh Shringarpore, Mir Sarwar and Aishwarya Rajesh. And considering the rave reviews of its Trailer, it is bound to deliver audiences the kind of gritty entertainment they were all looking for!
