    Arjun Kapoor wants Amit Sharma to helm Arjun Reddy remake?

    The director has just wrapped up his next film, Badhaai Ho, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra.

    Actor Arjun Kapoor has his plate full with so many plum projects with the Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster film Arjun Reddy being one of them. The actor plays the lead part in the movie which is expected to go to sets soon. The latest we hear that Arjun wants Amit Sharma to direct his film. For the uninitiated, Sharma has directed Kapoor in their 2015 film Tevar which was produced by Boney Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor .

    “Amit has just completed another film called Badhaai Ho with Ayushmann Khurrana and Dangal girl Sanya Malhotra . Arjun, who shares a fabulous equation with Amit, has asked the makers to sign him on. Ashwin and Murad Khetani , who are bankrolling the remake, want the flavour of the original retained. They may give in for Amit, but will make sure that the art of the first film isn’t lost in translation,” said a source.
