These days, Arjun Kapoor is one of the busiest actors around. A few weeks ago, he finished Dibakar Banerjee ’s Sandeep Aur Pinki Faraar and now, he is working in double shifts to wrap up Namastey England on time. The actor has also signed in for Ashutosh Gowariker ’s period film, Panipat . But apart from all these films, he has also been roped in for the Hindi remake of Telugu super hit film, Arjun Reddy. The movie is in the talks for the longest time and if insiders are to be believed then Arjun will kick-start it in 2019.

A source informed, "Discussions have been on for a long time as Arjun has his date diary full. He is planning to kick off the Hindi remake in 2019."

The Hindi remake is titled as Varma. "The protagonist’s first name will remain intact in the Hindi remake", said the source. The original film was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. However, it is not yet finalised who will direct the Hindi remake.

About the film, the source says, "It follows Arjun’s anger issues after he suffers a heartbreak. The film was widely acclaimed and earned cult status in Telangana. Now, the premise will be adapted to a North Indian setting."
