The rustic lad Arjun Kapoor debuted in Bollywood with the film ' Ishaqzaade ' and the actor earned praise for his performance. Then, the young star starred in double role in the film ' Aurangzeb '. The Kapoor lad is soon coming up with the film ' Gunday '. And going by the latest news update, Arjun Kapoor will be featuring in father Boney Kapoor 's next venture titled 'Tevar'.

The title has been given to Kapoor by the ace filmmaker Aditya Chopra . A close source said that the title 'Tevar' was with Yash Raj Films , as it was Yashji's favourite. Boney Kapoor intended to get the title for his film and when Arjun told Aditya Chopra that they wanted to make a film titled 'Tevar', the filmmaker handed over the title to Kapoor without wasting time, added the source. In this flick, Arjun will be playing a Kabaddi champion, who is a college-goer from Agra. The film is touted as the remake of a Telugu film 'Okkadu'. This will be directorial venture of the debut director Amit Sharma and it is expected to go on floors in Janurary.

'Tevar' features Sonakshi Sinha in the female lead.
