The whole nation is waiting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali 's magnum opus Padmavati with bated breath. Since most of his films have had a runtime of over 3 hours in the past, the same was being expected from his latest directorial venture. However, it turned out the film is as long 3.5 hours. Now, some latest reports claim that the makers are planning to trim the film to conclude it within 3 hours.

Padmavati revolves around three main characters, Alauddin Khilji, Raja Ratan Singh and Padmavati, played by Ranveer Singh , Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone respectively. The director does not want any of them to be short-changed. According to a source, “Everyone knows how passionate he is (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) about his film; he is not prejudiced towards any actors. His only passion is cinema and he will make the film according to how best the film can be. He cares for his actors, but he cares for the film much more”.

Meanwhile, team Padmavati is all set to launch the 3D trailer of the film today. The movie is scheduled to release on 1st December.
