Ever since the release of Dabangg 2, the makers have been questioned about the third instalment of the film franchise. The third part has always been in the pipeline but, the fans want it to materialize soon! In a recent media interaction, Arbaaz Khan clarified a lot of questions and put the speculations to rest.

Arbaaz said, "It will happen. I’m going to sit down with Salman, ideate on a few things. This year, we begin with pre-production and preparation. Next year, we start work on the film. It will take up an entire year."

When asked about Sonakshi Sinha ’s presence in the film, he said, "She should be a part of it, but there might be another leading lady in the film because you have got to add some amount of newness. You cannot change everything, but you can add a few characters... But it is not as though Sonakshi’s role will be non-existent."

Malaika Arora Khan’s has been a part of both the Dabangg films. While talking about Malaika’s role in the third part, Arbaaz quipped, "I have no clue. We could manage to get her a small part in D3."
