    Anushka Sharma to topline ‘Jasmine: Story of a Leased Womb’?

    Reportedly, Anushka is being considered for Shree Narayan Singh’s ‘Jasmine’, to play a surrogate mother.

    Yesterday, BollywoodMDB informed our readers that Shree Narayan Singh of ‘ Toilet: Ek Prem Kath a’ fame is collaborating with KriArj Entertainment for a movie on surrogacy. Though Shree Narayan will not be directing this film, he is co-producing the women-centric film. According to a report in a leading portal, the filmmaker wants to cast Anushka Sharma for the role of a surrogate mother, as he believes that she is a strong performer. If sources are to be believed, "Anushka is Shree's first choice. He will soon meet her and give her a narration."

    Explaining the basic theme of the story Shree Narayan earlier said, "Jasmine is the journey of a girl to motherhood, of eternal love between a mother and a child. I have always wanted to work on a women-centric film and I'm able to do so."

    Anushka will be next seen in an upcoming mystery love story ‘ Pari ’. The movie is also a joint production of Anushka’s Clean Slate Films and KriArj Entertainment. Well, if she is already working with KriArj, we guess if everything goes right, we’ll definitely see her in ‘Jasmine’.

    Apart from ‘ Pari ’, Anushka is working with Rajkumar Hirani on Sanjay Dutt ’s biopic, and she will also be seen in Anand L Rai ’s dwarf film opposite Shah Rukh Khan .
