Anushka Sharma's character in 'Bombay Velvet' unveiled

Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma starrer \'Bombay Velvet\' warmed the \'\'gossip bazaar\'\' much before the shot board flaps went down for the first take. The film set in the early era of the 60\'s grabbed the attention of gossip mongers for its wide evaluated sets depicting the vintage era, the story line and obviously the happening new pair of Ranbir and Anushka.

Well now the news birdies are out chirping a fresh word about the leading lady\'s character in the flick. Sources have revealed that Anushka would be essaying a role of a jazz singer of the 60\'s. She has already started her lessons to learn the know-how\'s of the character from her tutor who herself is a popular Ind-Australian Jazz singer, which would probably help her get under the skin of her character.

The unit of the film has began with the shooting schedule of the flick all the way in Sri Lanka. Huge sets had camped the neighboring country to depict the Bombay of 60\'s. The flick directed by Anurag Kashyap will also project the ace director/producer Karan Johar acting for the very first time. K Jo will be portraying an antagonist opposite the Youngistan heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor.
