The Censor Board has granted an Adult Certificate to Anurag Kashyap's upcoming film 'Bombay Velvet'. The film apparently has some abusive words used in it which is why it is given the 'A' tag. The film maker is not happy with the decision and wants the revision of the same. But the censor has refused it and asked the makers to edit the cuss words from the film.
Anurag is currently busy promoting the film and is miffed with the censor's decision considering the fact that the A certificate may harm its box office collections. Now, the latest update is that Kashyap plans to approach the revising committee of the censor board in order to ensure that his film 'Bombay Velvet' receives U/A Certificate.
The film stars actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead and is set to hit the theatres on May 15, 2015.
