In the last couple of years, Indian entertainment industry has witnessed a massive boon. While many filmmakers are constantly trying to do out of the box projects, the web world is also grown immensely. Where biggies like Saif Ali Khan and Shah Rukh Khan became the few mainstream actors to put their hands in the web, it is reported that the evergreen, Anil Kapoor , also has the similar plans. Now, we hear that Anil will soon produce a Netflix original series for India. It was earlier reported that the streaming giant is making a series based on the book “Selection Day” and it has been learned that Anil Kapoor will be producing the show.

In addition, Anil reportedly has booked a Netflix series and will star in it. The series will be helmed by The Last King of Scotland director, Kevin MacDonald.

Meanwhile, Anil is busy shooting for Salman Khan starrer Race 3 . Directed by Remo D’souza , the film will release during Eid 2018. Apart from this, he will also be seen in Fanne Khan , which is reported to clash with Race 3 and he also has a pivotal role in Shelly Chopra ’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga , where he will share the big screen with his real-life daughter, Sonam Kapoor .
