Recently, it was announced that a biopic is to be made on former Indian Hockey team captain Sandeep Singh and Angad Bedi is in the news for portraying the role of Bikramjeet Singh, elder brother of Sandeep. Angad, who has just wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film ‘ Tiger Zinda Hai ’, has started preparing for the biopic. Interestingly, the actor is being trained by none other than Sandeep Singh. He was recently seen practising hockey with the legendary player Singh.

The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Taapsee Pannu in pivotal roles. While Angad will be portraying Bikramjeet’s role, Sandeep’s role will be essayed by Diljit Dosanjh . Angad was last seen in a minor role in ‘ Dear Zindagi ' and before that, he was seen in the National Award winning movie ‘ Pink ’. Angad and Taapsee have worked before, but this will be the first time that the trio is coming together and also working first time with director Shaad Ali .

Ali’s last movie ‘ Ok Jaanu ’ failed at the box office but before this, he has given movies like ‘ Saathiya ’ and ‘ Bunty Aur Babli ’ which were super hits in their respective years. We hope it would be a treat to eyes to watch a movie based on hockey after a decade gap.
