    Amole Gupte to helm Saina Nehwal biopic

    Amole Gupte will direct the biopic based on the life of badminton star Saina Nehwal.

    Bollywood has seen biopics on sport persons garnering success, such as the films ' Mary Kom ' and ' Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ' gained thumbs up from the viewers. The latest one to join the wagon is arriving the biopic based on the life of badminton star Saina Nehwal.

    This biopic on the world's leading badminton player will be directed by Amole Gupte , reportedly. The makers have reportedly taken the rights of making this biopic. The movie will be penned by Amole Gupte and he will also turn director for it. As per the report, Gupte met Saina and her family in Hyderabad and the badminton champion provided the director with all the necessary details for this flick. Saina also gave home-made aloo parathas to the filmmaker!
