Shoojit Sircar's forthcoming directorial Pink featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu in the lead. The film is said to be a high-profile one and revolves around violence against women. Reportedly, the movie Pink has received four verbal cuts from the CBFC and is cleared with UA certificate. The verbal cuts are for the words that were blatantly abusive towards women.
The movie well depicts the predicament of urban Indian women where some men feel that they can abuse the women verbally and physically. The censor board liked the content of the film, as per the report. The producer Shoojit Sircar is glad about the decision of the censor board for understanding the context of violence.
Helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the movie Pink hits the screens on September 16.
