कभी कभी भला करने के चक्कर में बुरा हो जाता है जिसका ताजा ऊदाहरण है Amitabh Bachchan का हालिया tweet.

He was so much excited about the success of Mary Kom, who won Bronze medal at the London Olympics 2012 in boxing (in her category) that while congratulating her, he mentioned her place of hailing as Assam instead of Manipur. He wrote on his blog/micro blog 'mother of two from Assam' (for Mary Kom) but since she belonged to Manipur, some people raised objection at his tweet.

According to reports an activist from Shillong named Agnes Kharshiing took dig at Big B and suggested that a person with such a big personality should do some research before writing on his blog or micro blog.

Well, Amitabh Bachchan is a different kind of person who immediately apologizes for anything wrong committed by him. So as soon as he came to know about his mistake, he graciously made an apology stating, "Sorry correction : Mary Kom is from Manipur, not Assam .. apologies !!"

जब आप ज्यादा खुश या दुखी होते हैं तो आपसे इस तरह कि गलतियां हो जाना स्वाभाविक है लेकिन ऐसी बातों का बतंगड़ नहीं बनाना चाहिए! अमिताभ बच्चन sports के इतने बड़े lover हैं कि Mary Kom के द्वारा Bronze Medal जितने की ख़ुशी में उनसे ऐसी गलती हो गई, ऐसा लगता है.
