The superstar does not keep his work limited to the silver screen, but he has also worked a lot on humanitarian ground. Big B has worked as the UN Ambassador for the Girl Child. And now, he has once again worked for the women power.

Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan has arrived with a surprise for two female athletes, who are taking training for the upcoming Commonwealth, World Championship, and Asian Games in 2014. Indian sporting icons have come up with a campaign in order to recognize Indian athletes with a proven track record and who possesses the potential to win Olympic gold medals. Amitabh Bachchan has sponsored the two athelets, Ayonika Paul and Pooja Ghatkar (both rifle shooting) under this noble campaign. Paul and Ghatkar will be participating in the forthcoming World Championship, Common wealth and Asian Games 2014. The prime goal of this campaign is making them able to compete with the best at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Bachchan senior has kept aside the funds for them and these funds will be used in the training and equipment for the respective competitions of these two athletes.
