Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra become 'Incredible India' brand ambassadors

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and the actress Priyanka Chopra have been selected as the brand ambassadors of government's 'Incredible India' campaign, reportedly. The two actors became the brand ambassadors post the Centre's decision to discontinue the contract of Aamir Khan, as the actor angered the BJP-led government with his remarks on perceived intolerance in the nation. He promoted Indian tourism as its brand ambassador for a decade.

Multiple iconic personalities including sport personas were shortlisted by the tourism ministry to become the face of 'Incredible India' campaign. A female personality was being considered as the mascot of "Atithi Devo Bhava" series, a part of 'Incredible India' campaign for attracting the foreign tourists.
