BollywoodMDB yesterday reported about Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar to feature in R. Balki 's next. But the filmmaker R. Balki reportedly rubbished the rumours by saying "Outrageous, completely fabricated!". This news update went viral everywhere yesterday and the filmmaker is fuming.

"I’ve been busy with my wife Gauri Shinde’s film Dear Zindagi. Taking advantage of my unavailability a section of the media has gone berserk. I had no clue that this is been going on behind my back. When I started getting messages and calls asking about my film with Amitji and Akshay, I was like…thanks for telling me about it,” stated Balki.

He is not directing any project at present. The filmmaker Balki further said "After Dear Zindagi I will start thinking about what I will do next. At the moment all I know is it will be a movie with living actors. Not an animation film. And it won’t be about demonetization. Nor will it be about a filmmaker’s husband nearly dying of nervousness as he waits for the release of his wife’s film.”
