BollywoodMDB recently informed our readers about the remix number in Golmaal Again. Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are keen on having a revamp version of Neend Churai Tune song from Ishq (1997). The original track featured Ajay along with Kajol and Aamir Khan with Juhi Chawla. The trend of remixing Bollywood is on and always garners mix responses. The makers, however, follow the trend to seek an additional promotional material for the movie.
The song is a popular one by Ajay and Kajol and hence a lot of expectation would certainly be there regarding the remake. Rohit Shetty has roped in the young talent Amaal Malik to compose the music for the film.
Amaal Malik, Rohit Shetty and Ajay DevgnIn a media interaction, Music Composer of the film Amaal said, “Today, that’s the trend, but a lot of criticism also comes the composer’s way. I want to create a lot of original music, but Ajay and Rohit wanted this song to be a part of the film. If I am reworking on a remake, I want it to be as good as the original. I will ensure I remain honest to the actual melody.”
He added about the remix culture, saying, “It’s funny how everybody trashes the remixes, but the same people demand these same remixes at weekend parties. The audience enjoys it. We composers are also helpless because we end up losing a film if you disagree to do the work. Right now, I am not in a position to say no to film like Golmaal 4. But I am glad that I have an original and a remix in this movie.”
Along with Ajay, Golmaal Again stars Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu, Tushar Kapoor among others. It features Parineeti Chopra as the lead actress along with veteran star Tabu in a key role. The film has been scheduled to release this Diwali.
