    Amaal Malik composes entire album of Farhan Akhtar’s Lucknow Central

    Farhan Akhtar suggested Amaal Malik’s name to compose the album of film Lucknow Central.

    2016’s Baar Baar Dekho might certainly not be a superhit film, but it gave chartbuster tracks like Kala Chasma and Sau Aasman. It was the time; Excel Entertainment head Farhan Akhtar spotted the young talent Amaal Malik , who had created the latter song in the film. Therefore, he particularly suggested Amaal’s name to compose the entire album for his next starring film Lucknow Central .

    Lucknow Central has a plot revolving around jail; where few prisoners go on to form a band in the jail. Interesting, is it? Same must be Amaal’s reaction while he will be composing the songs for it.

    As per the sources, Amaal has already presented a scratch version of a song to the makers, which they have approved. Soon, he will be composing the final track for producer Nikhil Advani ’s approval.

    Lucknow Central is the directorial debut of Ranjit Tiwari, who has earlier worked with Nikhil as an assistant director.
